Welcome to the second season of Spread The Light.

With more than 20 "Harry Potter" fansites and youtubers from all around the world united in the effort to spread the light of charities, now we are fundraising for the Anne Rowling Clinic.

Founded in Jo’s late mothers’ name, it provides out care for patients with multiple sclerosis and other Neurodegenerative diseases as well as cutting edge research and clinical trials.

The book sculpture used in our layout was made by Malena Valcárcel.

She lives in Alicante - Spain, next to the beautiful and warm Mediterranean Sea. She was born in Tenerife – Canary Islands where she grew up without losing sight of the sea. Spread The Light (Répandre la lumière) est organise par 20 sites de fans Harry Potter à travers le monde (liste complete ci-dessous). L’objectif de cette operation est de metre en lumière et de récolter des fonds pour l’association caritative Lumos, fondée par J.K. Rowling. Lumos cherche à changer la vies des enfants places en orphelinat en ameliorant leur confort ou en les retournant à la paix d’un foyer auprès de parents qui les aiment. 90% des 8 millions d’enfant placés en orphelinat ne sont pas orphelins ! Une récente étude affirme que les enfants élevés en institution ont 10 fois plus de chances de recourir à la prostitution ; ont 40 fois plus de chances d’avoir un casier judiciaire ; et 500 fois plus de risque de commettre un suicide.
