Not a single day goes by that we do not wonder how our lives would have been if it was not for you. Your books united us across the world, and now we are letting their light shine bright. We just wanted to cast an Expecto Patronum to those in need, as you have been doing for us all these years. We hope we do you proud.

Sincerely, Spread The Light staff.

The book sculpture used in our layout was made by Malena Valcárcel.

She lives in Alicante - Spain, next to the beautiful and warm Mediterranean Sea. She was born in Tenerife – Canary Islands where she grew up without losing sight of the sea. She has been working with paper for some years now and have specialized in Book Sculptures. For more on Malena and her work, please visit her Etsy store.

Can I enter the Spread The Light prize draw?
Everyone is eligible to enter, regardless of age or location.

Do I have to donate to enter the prize draw?
Donations are very much encouraged however, you can also enter for free. Simply send us a typed letter (in English, please) with your full name, address, and email to the address below. Please note, postal entries will have equal opportunity to win.

Michaella Katz
505 Deerfield Ct.
Blue Bell, PA 19422

When should I donate?

To qualify in the prize draw, you must donate between July 1st, 2016 and by the latest, 11:59PM (EST) July 31st, 2016. You can still donate after the first but your donation would not be eligible in the prize draw.

What happens if I win?
We will send you an email notifying you that you’ve won. You must respond within 2 days or forfeit your prize, in which case, the prize you’ve won will be re-drawn. Since 100% of the funds raised goes directly to The Anne Rowling Clinic, we will ask you to pay for shipping. It would get very costly if we paid for every prize to be shipped around the world.

How much should I donate?
There are no limits or requirements to donating. The amount is up to you. Every little bit helps!

What is GiftAid? Should I tick that box?
Only tick yes to GiftAid if you are a UK taxpayer. As a UK citizen, the government will donate a percentage on your behalf.

How do I donate if I don’t live in the UK?
Enter the amount you’d like to donate in pounds and your bank or credit card will convert it for you. You can use a currency converter to find out the exchange.

How will the winners be chosen?
Each donor will be placed in a spreadsheet in the order their donations were received. We will then use a random numbers generator (random.org) to select the winner.

If I donate more than once will I have more chances to win?
No. One donation per person will be entered into the prize draw, so donating £5 twice will give you no advantage over donating £10 once. When the prizes are drawn, if any winner is found to have falsified their details to get around this, their prize will be re-allocated.

Can I win more than one prize?
There are two categories of prizes: The Deathly Hallow Grand Prizes (signed books, autographs, etc.) & The Golden Snitch Prizes which, are 7 gift sets that includes 7 Harry Potter prizes. Unless your one of The Golden Snitch winners, you will only receive 1 prize (but more than likely, a big prize). On that note, if someone wins a prize and their number comes up for another prize, the draw will be re-done until someone who has not won a prize is drawn.

What about these autographs your giving away?
Our autographs were purchased on eBay minus David Yates & Alison Sudol who generously donated to our fundraiser.

Will J.K. Rowling see this project or my message?
We can’t guarantee anything but she has been known to check out fundraisers for her charities 😉

When will the prize draw take place?
The prize draw will take place on August 7th, 2016. This will allow time for postal entries to be received.

I can’t afford to donate but I still want to help, is there anything I can do?
Yes! You can spread the word about the Anne Rowling Clinic & our fundraiser. Donations are wonderful but it’s just as important to spread the word & educate people.

Oh behalf of the Spread The Light staff, thank you for reading & if your donating, thank you very much for your generous donation!
